Meet Dr. Ravlyk
Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Lubomyr Ravlyk grew up in Webster, after his family moved from Lviv, Ukraine. He first came to orthodontics as a patient — a shy kid with crowded teeth who rarely smiled for photos, until braces changed that. That experience shaped how he practices, because how treatment feels matters as much as how it looks.
He earned his BS in biology from St. John Fisher University, then his DDS and MS in orthodontics from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. At RO, every plan is built around your concerns and goals first, and tailored to the person. His approach combines an artist’s attention to detail with a commitment to helping patients feel heard, informed, and at ease.
Outside the office, he loves drawing, designing, and bringing creative ideas to life. He enjoys traveling with a camera in hand, discovering new cultures, and getting outdoors to hike and explore. He’s happiest sharing good food and dessert with family and friends—and always appreciates a great story, whether in a book, on screen, or around the dinner table.

The building
The Doctors’ office, ready for its next chapter
For decades, neighbors have called 5973 Walworth Road simply “the doctors’ office.” The building dates to 1958: designed by Ontario native Duncan Buell — later a partner of famed architect Louis I. Kahn in Philadelphia — and built by local builder John VandeBrook, it has served Wayne County families ever since Dr. Norman Loomis opened his practice there.
Now RO is renovating it as its studio, so the building locals know as “the doctors’ office” will welcome patients again — this time for orthodontic care. Follow the build-out at @ravlykortho on Instagram.

Where will the practice be located?
You’ll find us at 5973 Walworth Road in Ontario, New York, in the familiar building many locals know as “the Doctors’ office.” We’re excited to continue its healthcare legacy, welcoming patients from Ontario, Webster, Penfield, Walworth, Williamson, Macedon, and beyond, throughout Wayne County and the greater Rochester area.
Who will you treat, and what treatments will you offer?
We’ll welcome children, teens, and adults, with braces and clear aligners tailored to each person’s needs and goals. From early treatment for growing smiles to focused corrections and comprehensive care, Dr. Ravlyk will explain your options and help you find the right approach.
What does a consultation cost?
Your initial consultation is complimentary. You’ll meet Dr. Ravlyk, discuss your concerns and goals, and learn about your treatment options, anticipated timing, and costs. It’s simply a chance to ask questions and make an informed decision.
